Play Date at the Townhomes

Grace had a fun day with her cousin, Chase, the other day. The weather just started geting warm enough to be comfortable outdoors. Here they are playing in our front yard and munching on crackers.
So, here are a couple more cute pictures of Grace in our front yard. You can also get an idea of what our neighborhood is like. For those who don't know, we moved into a townhome in Stansbury Park. We have been here for about six months, and we love it more every day.
There are about 100 townhomes behind the historic Ezra Taft Benson Grist Mill. (Don't ask me what Grist is because I don't know.) Each is identical with A and B units that mirror each other. 1100 sq. feet. 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 car garage, vaulted ceilings and more. They are amazing and amazingly affordable. The neighbors are great, too. Almost everyone is in the same situation: young couples with small children and basically broke.

Sleeping Beauty

This sweet little morsel is my little sister, Molly's, baby girl. Brooklyn Marie Trussell was born December 30, 2006. She was 6 lbs 3.5 oz. We all adore her.

The way to a child's heart...

My oldest brother, Brook, is a very talented chef at a Country Club in Missoula, Montana. So, he knows how to please anyone's taste buds. Even the kids were impressed because the second he got the candy dish they all swarmed over him. Grace even got in on the action, though she is normally shy around Brook since she doesn't get too see him very often. The only other time she got close to him was to drop dominos down the hole in the knee of his jeans.

Mmm. Mmm. Good.

Grace really likes breakfast. She likes wearing it just as much as eating it. Here I think we have strawberry yogurt, banana, wheat Chex, and Wheat Thins all swimming in fresh squeezed orange juice.
And this is how she tells me that she's all done: puttingher hands on her head and saygin, "Da Done." It sort of reminds me of topping the cake with frosting.

Boo!

For Halloween last year we all dressed up as witches. I painted everyone's faces. Some turned out great, others, well... So, from left to right: Emma, Hannah, Tasha, Baby Will (who isn't actually a witch, but a cuddly little bear), Amy, Grace, Karen, Molly, and Brooklyn who is still in the womb. Molly's womb.
I thought Hannah's makeup turned out the best.

I see London! I see France!

Silly little Grace, always good for a laugh.

What's that Funky Smell?

What a good little helper! Here, Grace is changing Baby Will's diaper.
He gets a pretty big kick out of her, except when she's snatching his binki out of his mouth or trying to poke him in the eyes.
