A Happy Sunny Say

Tasha took this photo. I love it.

New Year and New Experiences for Jacob

Jacob LOVED sledding. With his dad...
...by humself... ...(Molly brought a baby water toy that worked perfectly. It was just the right speed for Jacob.)...

...even with his mom. (Okay, maybe I loved it more.)

More Sledding Fun:

(Photos taken by Tasha Robison, and some by Amy Rasmuson) Here we are at the top of the hill. It was this perfect hill behind an elementary school.
Here is Emma surrounded by kids as usual.
Grace had a lot of fun with her Gramma Karen.
I, on the other hand had to force her ot go down with me. At least she still had fun...

...I think...

Sledding Train

(All photos taken by the talented Tasha Robison.) We went sledding with the Robison fmaily for New Years. It was a blast. See:

Christmas Season

We spent Christmas Eve Morning with my family. We do a gift exchange so we don't have to buy a present for everyone in the family.Grace got an awesome kitchen dress-up set from her Aunt Tasha."Give me some loves squishy cheeks!"
Jacob giving and revceiving his first Christmas presents.
The kids played Guitar Hero or Rock Band. One or the other (cant remember which.) Grace really likes to sing!

We spent Christmas Day with Ricky's family. Marilyn always has a beautiful, eloborate tree. She could totally be a professional designer. The Rasmusons do a gift exchange too. Here are some of Grace's I'm-so-"siked"-for-my-presents looks:

Later, Grace and her cousin Chase went down to the basement to "wrap presents." They used up at least a whole roll of tape and rendered plenty of wrapping paper useless.I love Jacob's face here. It looks like he is just so frustrated with the wrapping paper. Jacob got some very fun toys. Fun and delicious too, I guess.
We visited Temple Square to see all the lights. It seems each year there aren't as many lights to see. I think the church must be going green...

Christmas Vogue

I know some of these are not the best photos, but here is Grace showing off some of her new Christmas things.

Photogenic?

I made a set of peper dolls for Grace for Christmas. I wanted to put a picture of her face on the doll, so I took her to my sister-in-law's house for a photo shoot. Now, I only needed one good shot of her face strait on, with no hair in the way (that's why she has so many clips in her hair). Well, it's a good thing Tasha's camera has that super-quick exposure mode where you can click-click-click like a paparazzi because Grace like to pull these kinds of faces most of the time.

This is the shot I finally used. She's a cute girl, but boy is she hard to photograph sometimes.
